by Dr. Venus Opal Reese

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love.

Have you ever felt totally disjointed, when your deepest fears came roaring to the surface? I have. I am terrified that what my work is worthless. Meaning that it is interesting, even inspiring but not worth paying for. It doesn’t have monetary value. Get the picture? Can you relate? I hope you can.

I cannot teach what I have not learned. I cannot authentically stand up in front of hundreds of people and pretend I know what it is like to transform your self-worth such that your net-worth skyrockets if I have not authentically walked that path myself. Here are 5 tools that helped me go through these growing pains that may serve you:

1. Call the people who love you

2. Be nakedly honest

3. Speak your truth

4.  Grant yourself grace as you expand

5. Take an action that makes you want to vomit because it so flies in the face of what you think you are worth. By doing so, you can create new brain patterns of recognition.

# 5 is a game changer. If you want something different you have to do something different. I just dropped around 10k on plane tickets, a wealth retreat, and hotel because I was feeling poor. How’s that for creating new brain patterns of recognition? Once I had invested in me, I relaxed on the inside. No more will the past dictate my future with money. I live in an abundant Universe.

I have favor with God.
