I was introduced to Lisa last March at Mark Victor Hansen's Mega Book Event last year in CA. She was gracious enough to speak with me on the elevator, even though she was in a hurry to meet with her stylists. She was also my favorite female speaker of the entire event. I look forward to this call and hearing what she has to share. She's awesome!

I agree with meditation. This is a great way to start a day and to center and focus ourself on what we want in our life, in what we are. It is a connection with our innerself and move foward with our life purpose. To be center and calm it is creating a life of abundance.

Another way to maximize your wise mind is to become more mindful.
Practicing mindfulness, that's learning to be be more present in each moment of your life, lessens the constant noise and chatter of the mind so that you have greater access to your inner knowledge and wisdom.
At any moment you can become mindful: just stop for a minute and bring your attention to your breath. Follow the in-breath and then the out-breath for a few minutes. You'll be amazed at your results!

Intuition is like a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it becomes. Emotions are a barometer: they indicate what needs to be paid attention to. Ignore either, and trouble begins!

Beautifully said! I can't think of a more succinct way to emphasize how important it is for us to urge the left and right hemispheres of our brains to work together. It's identical to what's currently happening between the genders-- the battle is over and we're now figuring out a way to be women without excluding men.

THANK YOU, eWomen Network Foundation! We are in Chicago, and have a few updates for you if you haven't yet seen them on Facebook or @alyandrea (Twitter). Dinner last night was with Corny Koehl at Art Smith's Table 52. We rubbed mac n' cheese on our thighs and drank great wine. It was incredible (Oprah's former personal chef!), and the company was fantastic... Corny rocks. Then it was up to Oprah radio this morning, where we sat in on Gayle's radio show (she spoke to us very briefly on air, but mostly during commercial). We also toured the radio studio and met the gang there. In a couple of hours, we are off to see the secret premiere of the movie "Nine." That's the show topic for tomorrow's taping, so we'll update on that soon.... Rock On!
